Pondi Splashes ₦200 Million Naira Business Grants on Nigerians
Chief Kestin Pondi, Group Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, has awarded ₦200 million in grants to 40 entrepreneurs across Nigeria.
Originally intended to support 20 recipients, the initiative was expanded to accommodate 40 awardees, with each entrepreneur receiving ₦5 million.
The grants, aimed at boosting businesses in sectors such as agriculture, technology, retail, healthcare and logistics, were presented to recipes at Effurun, Delta State on Thursday, March 6.
The announcement was met with joy and surprise, particularly from those who had initially believed they missed out.

Over 9,000 business plans were reviewed, with a selection committee, led by Victor Isereke, choosing the final 40 beneficiaries.
Pondi and key figures from the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) urged the recipients to use the funds to grow their businesses responsibly.
The initiative has earned positive remarks across Nigeria with hopes that it will contribute to local economic development, particularly in the Niger Delta region.
