Transcorp Relocates Power Turbines From Rivers to Delta State
Transnational Corporation Plc has transferred four power turbines from its facility in Rivers State to Delta State as part of an operational adjustment to stabilize electricity supply amid challenges in fuel delivery.
Group CEO, Dr. Owen Omogiafo, told investors that the shift would ensure continuous generation despite the company’s temporary constraints in Rivers. She said the move was planned in coordination with regulators and stakeholders to maintain output efficiency.
One of the relocated units is already linked to the national grid, while work on the remaining three is progressing and expected to conclude shortly.
Dr. Omogiafo assured shareholders that the company remains focused on expanding its generation portfolio and supporting Nigeria’s energy security through strategic investments and sustainable management.
