Oborevwori Named South-South Governor of the Year

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has been named South-South Governor of the Year at the inaugural Progressive Digital Media Summit and Awards in Abuja. The recognition was for his leadership, infrastructure projects, and commitment to digital inclusion since taking office in May 2023.

Organisers lauded his M.O.R.E Agenda, an acronym for Meaningful Development, Opportunities for All, Realistic Reforms, and Enhanced Peace and Security as impactful and people-driven.

Accepting the award on his behalf, Hon. Lovette Idisi said the award was proof of the governor’s dedication to service and inclusive growth, adding that the administration remains committed to delivering its promises to Deltans.
