NCDMB, Rucotech Equip Warri Youths with ISO Certification

Dozens of young professionals in Warri have completed a high-impact training on ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems, organised by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) in partnership with Rucotech Integrated Services Nigeria Limited.

The three-day programme, which concluded on Wednesday, 9 July, provided participants with internationally recognised certification, alongside brand-new laptops and starter kits to help kickstart their careers in quality management.

Delivered by Rucotech, a training firm accredited by the Centre for Management Development (CMD), the sessions focused on global best practices in quality systems and organisational standards. The training forms part of broader efforts to develop human capacity in the Niger Delta.

Participants commended both the content and coordination of the event, stating that it was eye-opening and professionally executed.

“It was unlike any training I’ve attended before very engaging, well-structured, and useful,” one graduate said.

Mr Festus Erubore, who represented NCDMB’s Executive Secretary, Engr Felix Omatshola Ogbe, lauded Rucotech for its thorough delivery and reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to partnerships that create real value.

“This training reflects our belief in local capacity. We are proud to support programmes that meet international standards and empower our youth,” he said.

Chief Executive Officer of Rucotech, Prince Collins Oritsetimeyin Edema, expressed appreciation to NCDMB for entrusting his organisation with the initiative.

“Since 2014, we’ve remained focused on quality and innovation. This collaboration shows what’s possible when institutions invest in people,” he said.

The closing ceremony ended with a renewed call for sustained investment in skills development across the Niger Delta.
