Delta APC Leaders Endorse Tinubu, Oborevwori for 2027

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have endorsed President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for re-election in 2027.

The endorsement came during a strategic meeting at the Ogboagbene home of former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe, who was unanimously adopted as the national leader of the Ijaw APC in Delta.

“This is one of my happiest days,” Orubebe said. “For the first time, I’m not strategising against the opposition, we are all united in APC.”

He urged party members to stay loyal to the leadership of the President, Governor, and local council, stressing unity as key to political success.

“The APC in Burutu has adopted the President and the Governor for 2027. That is our stand,” he declared.

Orubebe appealed for an end to internal conflicts, blackmail, and sycophancy, calling on leaders to work together for the benefit of the Ijaw people.

He added that he had presented the needs of the Ijaw community to the state government and expressed confidence they would be met before Governor Oborevwori’s term ends in 2031.
