Army, NDLEA Arrests Seven Drug Peddlers in Warri

Troops of the Nigerian Army, in partnership with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, carried out a raid on suspected drug cartels in Warri Metropolis and surrounding areas of Delta State on Wednesday.

The security forces targeted locations such as Ugbomo, Uti, Jakpa Road, and Ugbuwangue, where they arrested seven suspected drug peddlers and recovered various illicit substances, including items believed to be cannabis sativa.

The suspects and seized items have been transferred to the NDLEA for further investigation and prosecution, as authorities confirm that operations aimed at curbing drug trafficking and other criminal activities in the state are ongoing.
