Warri South Completes Extensive Cleanup to Revive Ubeji Roadway

The Warri South Local Government Council has completed an extensive cleanup operation in Ubeji, restoring the look of the community’s dual carriageway and adjoining walkways. The effort, which began on November 13 and concluded on November 17, focused on removing accumulated sand and weeds.

Head of the Environment Department, Mrs. Stella Omosibo Mode, said the project was essential because the road serves as the primary access route into Ubeji and connects several neighbouring communities. She expressed appreciation to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Chairman Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac for their support.

Mrs. Mode urged residents to maintain cleanliness and avoid littering in accordance with public health regulations.
