Mr Jollof Apologises After Mid-Air Clash With VDM

Nigerian comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, popularly known as Mr Jollof, has issued a public apology following his confrontation with social media commentator Very Dark Man aboard a United Nigeria Airlines flight. The incident, which occurred on a trip from Asaba to Lagos, gained national attention after passengers recorded the heated exchange that escalated into a physical scuffle.

In a video shared on Instagram, Mr Jollof apologised to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, United Nigeria Airlines, and passengers who were affected. He insisted he acted only in self-defence but acknowledged that the situation was unacceptable and regrettable.

He also addressed his family and employer, saying the incident did not reflect his personality or values. He assured them and the public that such behaviour would not happen again.

Mr Jollof concluded his message by thanking those who reached out and by expressing hope that the matter would be put behind him as he works to rebuild trust with his audience.
