Verydarkman Confirms Recovery of N78m Stolen NGO Funds

Controversial social critic Verydarkman has confirmed the recovery of N78 million out of the N180 million he previously claimed was stolen from his NGO’s account.

The update follows an alarming post on Instagram last Friday, where Verydarkman accused hackers of draining his organization’s account of a substantial sum. His claims were met with skepticism by many, with critics questioning the authenticity of the incident.

In a follow-up post on Sunday, Verydarkman expressed his gratitude for the support he had received during the investigation. He shared that the recovery process was progressing and that N78 million had been successfully retrieved. He also revealed that the investigation had led them to a suspect, who implicated another individual believed to have fled to Ghana. Verydarkman hinted that further steps may include international efforts to track down the individual.

“I want to thank those who reached out to check on me. Also, thanks to God for the progress made so far,” he wrote. “We have managed to recover N78 million, but the person involved has pointed out that their accomplice is in Ghana. We’re looking into that and maybe heading there soon.”

The case remains under investigation, with Verydarkman expressing hope that the remaining funds will be recovered soon.
