Ukodhiko Launches Multi-Million Naira Empowerment for Isoko Constituents
The Member of the House of Representatives for Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has unveiled a multi-million naira empowerment initiative in celebration of his 50th birthday.
Turning 50 on March 25, 2025, Ukodhiko revealed that the programme aims to support small businesses and provide vocational skills training to youths, furthering his commitment to grassroots development.
In a statement shared on his Facebook page, Ukodhiko outlined plans to empower 340 constituents, focusing on both existing and new businesses.
Ukodhiko emphasised the importance of the Mustard Seed Principle, which advocates for starting small and nurturing growth, expressing confidence that this initiative would equip the youth to pursue entrepreneurship and drive economic progress.
The initiative is divided into two categories. Category A will offer a skill acquisition and empowerment programme on air freshener and bleach-making. The five-day course will include training on business feasibility, marketing, product analysis, NAFDAC/SON certification, financial management, and branding.

Applicants in this category must be graduates aged 35 or under and must be constituents of Isoko North or South Federal Constituency.
Ukodhiko disclosed the programme will select 70 participants in this category.
Category B focuses on small enterprises (SEs) and individuals with innovative business ideas who are restricted by lack of startup capital. Beneficiaries will be selected based on their business expansion plans or proposals for new businesses.
Business owners in this category must submit an expansion plan detailing current challenges and how the initiative would help.
A total of 20 beneficiaries will be chosen in this category.
Interested constituents are encouraged to submit their business proposals to uj*****************@***il.com with 4 p.m on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 as deadline.
