Sowore, Viral Corps Member Appear Before LGI in Lagos
Human rights activist and former 2023 presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, accompanied National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member Rita Uguamaye to the Eti-Osa Local Government Inspectorate (LGI) offices in Lagos today.
Uguamaye had been scheduled to appear before the LGI after publicly calling out the Bola Tinubu administration over the deteriorating living conditions in the country. She was joined by her legal team.
Sowore, in a statement shared on Monday, March 17, via his X (formerly Twitter) handle, revealed that the team waited for a long period without the LGI officials showing up.
