Pirah Hails Completion of Trans-Warri–Ode-Itsekiri Road
A former member of the Delta State Executive Council, Mr. Omamofe Pirah, has applauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for completing the 20.95 km Trans-Warri–Ode-Itsekiri Road, a project that includes 15 bridges and has lingered for nearly two decades. Pirah said the development marks a turning point for the Itsekiri nation, which has long awaited this connection.
He praised the governor’s political resolve and financial discipline, noting that the road has ended years of doubt surrounding the project. According to him, the Itsekiri people now see fulfilled what once appeared like a distant dream.
Pirah urged communities in the area to unite behind Governor Oborevwori and support his re-election bid in 2027. He maintained that the governor’s performance within two years suggests a future of continued stability and inclusive development.
