Nurses Nationwide Begin Seven-Day Warning Strike

The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has launched a seven-day warning strike across Nigeria to protest poor working conditions, inadequate remuneration, and a worsening brain drain in the healthcare sector.

NANNM President Michael Nnachi said the strike follows unsuccessful attempts to engage the Federal Government on improving welfare and ensuring safer workplaces.

He warned that failure to meet their demands within seven days could result in an indefinite strike affecting nursing services nationwide.
