Nollywood Losses Veteran Actor
Veteran Nollywood actor Columbus Irisoanga, popularly known as ‘Igbudu,’ has passed away.
The news was confirmed by actress and politician Hilda Dokubo, who shared the announcement on Thursday, February 6 via Instagram.
In her post, Dokubo expressed the deep impact of his death on both the University of Port Harcourt (Uniport) in Rivers State and the Nollywood industry.

“There can’t be a shortage of Angels in heaven that the few here are called home like this na! This one is heavy on Uniport, Rivers State, and Nollywood,” she wrote.
Irisoanga’s death comes just days after the passing of 35-year-old Nollywood actress Pat Ugwu.
