The Edo State Police Command has dismissed reports circulating on social media alleging that a police station was razed by fire in Ekpoma.
According to the Command, the incident in question occurred at the POWA Shops area within the Ekpoma Division, where an electrical spark triggered a fire that affected several shops.
Police officers, working with residents, quickly put out the fire, preventing further damage, and no casualties were recorded.
The Command warned against the spread of unverified information, urging residents to rely on official sources.
