NMA Uncovers Illegal Baby Factory in Udu LGA
The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Warri Zone, uncovered a baby factory disguised as a hospital along Orhuwhorun Road in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.
NMA Chairman, Dr. Djebah Bright, said four babies were rescued during a routine monitoring exercise against quack medical practices. The infants have since been relocated to an orphanage in Asaba.
He warned that unqualified individuals running fake hospitals put public health at risk. The association, he added, will intensify efforts to close illegal facilities across the region.
