NDDC Marks 25th Anniversary with Call for Integrity and Renewal
The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) ended its 25th anniversary with a thanksgiving service in Port Harcourt, turning the celebration into a moment of reflection and renewed commitment.
The Managing Director, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, said the Commission deliberately concluded the anniversary with prayer, following a week-long programme of fasting and spiritual activities. According to him, the agency’s progress over the years could not be separated from divine guidance.
He urged staff to uphold integrity and remain focused on the Commission’s development mandate, adding that prayer would continue to be central to its work. Executive Directors, senior officials, and members of staff were present at the service.
Pastor Udoma Sabbath of the NDDC Fellowship said the presence of a new board and chief executive with fresh zeal was a sign that prayers had been answered, while officials expressed hope that the Commission would remain steadfast in driving growth across the Niger Delta.
