NCDMB Trains Youths in Warri, Effurun on LPG

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has provided vocational training for youths across the Niger Delta, focusing on opportunities in the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) sector.

The one-week training, held in Warri and Effurun, Delta State, aimed to equip 50 participants with practical skills in LPG operations, marketing, and business development. The programme was delivered by Lakeshore Integrated Services.

Participants received laptops and certificates upon completion, with NCDMB covering accommodation and other expenses. Some attendees described the experience as life-changing, citing increased confidence and new business prospects in the oil and gas industry.

The initiative is part of the board’s broader efforts to promote local content and create economic opportunities for young people in the region.
