Isoko North Council Issues Deadline for Removal of Illegal Structures
The Isoko North Local Government has set a 90-day deadline for the removal of illegal structures and traders operating along major roads in the Ozoro area.
This was disclosed by the local government chairman, Godwin Ogorugba, during the inauguration of an Environmental Task Force on Thursday, November 7, 2024.
Warri Sentinel understands the ultimatum, which will remain in effect until January 6, 2025, targets key routes such as the Ozoro-Kwale Road, NDC, Ala Square through Hospital Road, Ozoro-Oleh Road, Urude Road, and the Ozoro-Owhelogbo Road.
The task force, headed by Hon. Emmanuel Evuera consists of seven members charged with enhancing public safety, restoring order, and improving traffic flow in the area.
The traders were advised to relocate to designated areas, stating that failure to comply will result in the demolition of unauthorized structures and the confiscation of goods.
