House of Reps Releases Certified Copies of Tax Reform Laws

The House of Representatives has released certified true copies of four tax reform Acts recently passed by the National Assembly and signed by President Bola Tinubu. The move follows public concerns over claims that the laws were altered after approval.

House Spokesman, Akintunde Rotimi, said the original versions signed by the President have been made available to the public, while printed copies have been distributed to lawmakers for transparency.

Speaker of the House, Tajudeen Abbas, directed the release to reinforce public confidence in the legislative process. He said the National Assembly operates as a record-based institution guided by established rules and verification systems.

According to the Speaker, these procedures ensure the integrity and authenticity of all laws enacted by the parliament.
