Gov Oborevwori Approves 2024 Bursary for Delta Students

Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the 2024 Bursary Award for students of Delta State origin in public and private universities, polytechnics, monotechnics, colleges of education, schools of nursing science, and other tertiary institutions, including military and paramilitary schools.

A total of 32,028 students are expected to benefit from the bursary in the coming year. However, only qualified students who applied for the award will receive the financial assistance Warri Sentinel learnt.

According to a statement by the Executive Secretary of the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, Dr. Godfrey Enita, the approval is a gesture of goodwill and reflects the state government’s commitment to the well-being of youths through financial aid and massive infrastructural development in schools across the state.
