FG, Dangote Refinery Finalise 12 Million Barrels Oil Deal for October
The Federal Government of Nigeria has reached an agreement with the Dangote Refinery for the supply of 12 million barrels of crude oil to the refinery in October, Warri Sentinel has learnt.
This significant arrangement is part of the “Crude Oil for Naira” deal, which represents a strategic partnership between the Dangote Group and the Nigerian government.
Chief Executive Officer of the Dangote Refinery, Aliko Dangote, disclosed this in an interview, highlighting its potential impact on the local economy.
Furthermore, Mr. Dangote called for the complete removal of fuel subsidies in the country. He argued that eliminating these subsidies would help clarify actual petrol consumption levels and reduce the financial pressures on the Naira.
