Delta State shuts down six schools over licensing
The Delta State Government has closed six private schools in Oshimili South Local Government Area for failing to meet regulatory requirements.
The Ministry of Information said the schools had been warned to regularise their operations but did not comply. Those affected include Prime Seed of Abraham School and Mater Christi Group of Schools.
Officials say the schools will remain shut until they meet government standards. Parents have been advised to verify schools’ approval status before enrolling their children.
