Delta Pastor Arrested Over Fresh Sexual Assault Claim

The Delta State Police Command has arrested Pastor Daniel Ololo of Omega Prophetic Prayer Ministry in Sapele after new petitions accused him of rape, defilement, and sexual assault.

Police spokesman SP Bright Edafe said the pastor was taken into custody on November 17, 2025, by detectives from the State CID. The arrest followed a petition filed on October 13 alleging he used claims of prophecy to lure female members of his church.

According to investigators, one of the petitions involves three sisters from the same family who attended his ministry, with the youngest being 17 years old. The case has stirred concern among residents.

Pastor Ololo is still in police custody as the investigation continues, and the Command has pledged a thorough probe and prosecution if the allegations are confirmed.
