Delta Govt Dismisses Claims of Isoko Marginalisation in Projects
The Delta State Government has refuted allegations that the Isoko Nation was sidelined in recent project approvals by the State Executive Council (Exco).
In a statement on Friday, the Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, stressed that the Oborevwori-led administration remains committed to equitable development across the state.
Aniagwu said over 53 infrastructural projects have either been completed, are ongoing, or have been approved in both Isoko North and Isoko South local government areas. These projects span roads, healthcare, education, and internal community road networks.
He reiterated the administration’s dedication to the MORE Agenda, noting that development efforts are strategically distributed without bias to any region.
