He stated that arrangements have been concluded to ensure a smooth and orderly process.
The State Working Committee, led by Chairman Omeni Sobotie, has invited statutory delegates, stakeholders and party leaders across Delta State to participate. Expected at the congress are the Governor and Deputy Governor, members of the National Advisory Council from the state, the State Executive Committee, serving and former members of the National Assembly, as well as members of the National Executive Committee.
Also expected are current and former members of the Delta State House of Assembly, elected local government chairmen and their deputies, councillors, and party executives at the local government level. Five delegates from each ward, including two women from the Zonal Executive Committee and ward executives drawn from the 270 wards, have also been invited, alongside leaders who attended the APC Stakeholders’ Meeting held on January 23, 2026.
