“Focus on Iran, Allow Me Rest”—Umahi Dismisses Harassment Claims
Minister of Works David Umahi, has rejected allegations that he withheld payment from a businesswoman, Tracy Ohiri after she allegedly turned down his sexual advances.
In a video now circulating on social media, the minister denied owing anyone and challenged the credibility of the accusation. He stated that if a prominent figure as Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan had made such a claim, he would have considered it more seriously, adding that he could not be accused of pursuing “just anybody” for years.
Umahi further downplayed the controversy, urging Nigerians to shift their attention to international developments, particularly tensions in Iran. He appealed for privacy, asking the public to “allow David Umahi to rest.”
The allegations, which have gained traction online, follows claims that the minister failed to pay for services rendered years ago.
