Dele Momodu Resigns from PDP, Joins ADC
Former presidential aspirant and media entrepreneur, Dele Momodu, has announced his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), attributing his decision to growing dissatisfaction with the party’s internal structure and direction.
In a formal letter dated July 17, 2025, and submitted to his local ward in Edo State, Momodu stated that the PDP had lost its democratic foundation, prompting his decision to exit the party immediately.
He has since declared allegiance to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), a party that has been gaining ground amid widespread defections and internal rifts within major political parties.
Momodu, who joined the PDP in 2021, had been active in national political discussions and internal party affairs.
