APC Appoints Nentawe Yiltwada as National Chairman
The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Prof. Nentawe Yiltwada, as the new National Chairman of the ruling party.
Yiltwada’s appointment comes following the resignation of Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje on June 27.
His nomination was made by the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, and seconded by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Tajudeen Abbas.
The NEC meeting, where the decision was taken, is currently ongoing at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
