Again, Trump Slams Nigeria Over Christian Killings, Warns of Possible U.S. Action
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has renewed his criticism of Nigeria over what he calls widespread killings of Christians in the country. Speaking on a conservative radio show, Trump alleged that thousands of believers are losing their lives in repeated attacks.
He warned that the U.S. could suspend aid to Nigeria if authorities fail to curb the violence. Trump, who had previously labeled Nigeria a “Country of Particular Concern,” insisted that stronger action is needed to protect vulnerable communities.
The former president again floated the possibility of military intervention targeting Islamist militants. According to him, the Nigerian government has not done enough to prevent assaults on Christian settlements.
Trump called the situation “a disgrace,” stressing that Washington will reconsider its financial relationship with Nigeria if concrete steps are not taken to halt the killings.
