Nigeria Mourns as Retired Air Vice Marshal Okorodudu Dies at 70
Nigeria has lost one of its former senior Air Force officers, Terry Omatsola Okorodudu, who died in Nairobi, Kenya, after battling a long illness. He was 70.
Okorodudu joined the Nigerian Air Force in 1976 and rose to the rank of Air Vice Marshal before retiring in 2010. His career spanned more than three decades during which he played active roles in the development of the Force.
Born in Port Harcourt in 1955, he was also involved in politics after his retirement, showing interest in the Delta South senatorial primaries of the APC in 2019 before stepping down.
Tributes continue to pour in from colleagues, political allies and family members as the country reflects on the service of a man whose career bridged both military and civic engagement.
