“We are reaching the ambitious goals we set for ourselves, and I’m pleased to announce that we’ve just sold two cargoes of jet fuel to Saudi Aramco,” he said.
NESG Chairman, Mr. Niyi Yusuf, commended the $20 billion refinery as a key investment for Nigeria’s industrialisation and economic growth. He stressed that such projects are crucial to reaching the country’s $1 trillion economy goal and reducing reliance on imports.
In his response, Dangote emphasized the importance of the private sector in Nigeria’s development, highlighting the challenges of infrastructure and the need for government support in providing essential services. He also pointed to the role of protecting domestic industries to promote self-sufficiency.
