Tinubu Postpones Ogun Visit, Heads to Plateau Over Killings
President Bola Tinubu has postponed his scheduled visit to Ogun State for the commissioning of the Gateway International Cargo Airport and will instead travel to Jos, Plateau State, on Thursday to commiserate with the government and residents following recent deadly gun attacks that claimed several lives.
After his visit to Plateau State, the President is expected to proceed to Lagos, where he will observe Good Friday. He is also scheduled to return to Ogun State on Saturday, April 4, to commission key projects, including the cargo airport.
During the Easter period, Tinubu will remain in Lagos, where he will inaugurate additional infrastructure projects, among them the Ojota/Opebi Link Bridge.
Before returning to Abuja, the President is also billed to visit Bayelsa State on April 10 to commission projects executed under Governor Duoye Diri’s administration.
