2Baba Confirms Romance With Edo Lawmaker, Promises Marriage

Nigerian music icon, Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, has confirmed his romantic involvement with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru,

The heartfelt confession follows his recent divorce from his wife, Annie Idibia, and the singer has expressed a desire to take his relationship with Osawaru to the next step.

Rumours about their relationship had been circulating, fueled by 2Baba’s public appearance at the Edo State Assembly and a video showing the pair together at a Lagos nightclub.

In response to the growing speculation, On Tuesday, the “African Queen” hitmaker took to Instagram to set the record straight. In a video post, he dismissed the rumors and denied that Osawaru played any role in the breakdown of his marriage.

He stated, “Hon. Natasha has been dragged, she has been called all sorts of names, she has been labeled as a homewrecker. She is a young, brilliant, amazing woman, and she had nothing to do with what is happening between me and Annie in our marriage.”

2Baba also added, “Yes, I love her, she is amazing, she is cool, and I want to marry her.”

On January 26, 2025, 2Baba hinted on his divorce and separation with Annie but immediately retracted his statement claiming his account was hacked.

This new development has now confirm the music legend’s separation and possible divorce from his age-long African Queen.
