Woman Held Over Alleged Theft of Hair Extensions at Igbudu Market

Traders at Igbudu Market in Warri, Delta State, apprehended a woman on Saturday, March 7, over allegations of stealing bundles of female hair extensions from a shop within the busy market.

Eyewitnesses said the suspect was intercepted shortly after the items reportedly went missing from a vendor’s stall. The alarm was raised by market women, prompting others to join in and prevent her from leaving the area.

The incident attracted a large crowd, as traders and shoppers gathered to witness the development while order was restored.

According to market sources, the items involved included bundles of women’s hair and weave products, commonly sold at high prices in beauty supply shops within the market.
