Warri North APC Reaffirm Support for Tinubu, Oborevwori

Political activities intensified in Koko on Thursday as leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Warri North Local Government Area threw their support behind President Bola Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. The endorsement came at the end of a stakeholders’ meeting convened to consolidate party unity and grow its membership base.

During the meeting, party leaders adopted a motion expressing confidence in the leadership of both men. The motion was initiated by Hon. Joel Bisina, supported by the state’s Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Mrs. Orode Uduaghan, and formally presented by Hon. Fred Martins of the Delta State House of Assembly.

APC chairman in Warri North, Comrade Omatseye Akatakpo, used the gathering to rally members around the ongoing electronic registration exercise, urging ward leaders to return home and mobilise supporters. He noted that the meeting was the first since the recent political realignment in the state.

Local government chairman, Hon. Festus Ashima, said the unity displayed at the summit positions the APC strongly ahead of future elections.
