Ugborodo Community Announces New Trust Executive Members

The Ugborodo community in Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State, has announced the constitution of new executive members to steer the affairs of the Ugborodo Community Trust. The Trust, which brings together several Ugborodo communities, was established to drive growth, development, and the effective management of collective resources.

Speaking at a press briefing held at the community town hall on Friday, September 26, a community leader disclosed that the formal inauguration of the new executives will be held at a later date. He further revealed that a governing council has been set up to oversee the activities of the Trust and ensure transparency and accountability in the handling of community resources.

The oldest man in the community, Robinson Edema, charged the 29-member executive team to work selflessly for the interest of the people. He emphasized the need for the new leadership to prioritize welfare and initiatives that will enhance the standard of living across the Ugborodo communities.

The briefing was attended by community elders, including all olare-aja (oldest men) from the constituent communities, alongside a large turnout of indigenes who pledged support for the new administration.
