Two Injured in Ughelli Robbery Attack, Security Dog Killed

Two people have been injured and a security dog killed after armed men raided a house in Ughelli, Delta State. The incident occurred late on Tuesday in the Ekredjebor area. This is despite recent arrests and weapons recoveries by the Delta State Police Command.

Eyewitnesses said five attackers first confronted a vigilante on duty before breaking into the property. Unable to force open the main door, they reportedly cut through the ceiling to gain access, causing significant damage.

Once inside, the robbers shot one resident in the leg and stole phones and other valuables. The two injured victims are receiving treatment in hospital. Neighbors who inspected the property called for stronger police patrols and faster response to such incidents.
