Transport Company Suspends Staff Over Alleged Misconduct in Delta
The management of G. Agofure Motors has announced the indefinite suspension of Mrs. Rachael Adeleke, Head of Agofure Parcel Services at the company’s headquarters in Effurun, Delta State, over allegations of gross misconduct.
In a statement released by the company, Mrs. Adeleke is accused of diverting goods intended for customers to herself. The items allegedly registered under her name include six LG refrigerators, a bicycle, a tile cutter, a tool box, and a SV2200 generator, totalling ten items.
According to the statement, Adeleke is further accused of using her position to deprive the company of approximately N600,000 by misappropriating the goods, which were reportedly registered at a significantly lower value of N60,000. It is also claimed that she positioned herself as both the sender and recipient of the goods.

The statement, signed by General Manager Mr. John Agbidi, stated her actions had breached the company’s trust, leading to her suspension. The company has confirmed that she no longer holds any position within G. Agofure Motors or Agofure Parcel Services and is prohibited from representing the company in any capacity.
G. Agofure Motors has cautioned the public that any business conducted with Mrs. Adeleke in the name of the company will be at their own risk.
