SSA on Community Devt Hails Warri Sentinel’s Grassroots Impact at One-Year
The Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Development has extended heartfelt congratulations to Warri Sentinel Media Limited on the occasion of its first anniversary, lauding the media outfit for its pivotal role in grassroots journalism and community development.
In a goodwill message, Amb. (Dr) Toyin Orighomisan Agbolayah (JP), Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Development, commended Warri Sentinel for its consistent dissemination of vital information and its contribution to strengthening civic awareness and participation, particularly in underserved communities.
He noted that the outlet’s consistent reportage and community-focused journalism have been instrumental in advancing the M.O.R.E Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
The M.O.R.E Agenda which stands for Meaningful development, Opportunities for all, Realistic reforms, and Enhanced Peace and Security serves as the Governor’s core blueprint for progress across Delta State.
According to the statement, Warri Sentinel’s collaboration with the Office of the Special Adviser has further strengthened the link between government policies and community needs. The media organization was also acknowledged for promoting development-driven narratives aligned with the administration’s focus on grassroots inclusion and social progress.

Founded in May 2024, Warri Sentinel Media Limited has focused on community-driven reporting and has gained recognition for its emphasis on local development issues.
