Prophet Jeremiah’s Miracle Products Under Investigation -NAFDAC
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has said the agency is investigating Pastor Jeremiah Fufeyin’s Christ Mercy Land Delivery Ministries over allegations of namedropping to deceive the unsuspecting public.
Warri Sentinel learned from a statement by the Director General of NAFDAC, Prof Mojisola Adeyeye, on Sunday that the products, including ‘Miracle Water’ and ‘Miracle Soap’, are not registered with NAFDAC.
The agency said: “NAFDAC wishes to alert the public on the activities of a faith-based organization – Christ Mercy Land Delivery Ministries – that uses NAFDAC name to deceive the unsuspecting public.”
Recent complaints have surfaced about these products, which claim to offer healing benefits and are advertised as NAFDAC-approved. The products include Miracle & Healing Water and River Jordan Water.
NAFDAC’s Delta State Coordinator investigated the claims but encountered resistance from the ministry. A subsequent inspection on August 27 by NAFDAC and a Federal Task Force was also met with non-cooperation.
The ministry later presented legal documents claiming a production agreement with Globod Table Water, but NAFDAC found this arrangement to be illegal. The Globod Table Water factory has been sealed.
NAFDAC advises the public to avoid these products as they are not officially approved. The agency continues to investigate and urges all faith organizations to adhere to regulatory standards.
Prof Adeyeye assured the public of NAFDAC’s commitment to safeguarding health.
