President Tinubu Moves Surveyor-General’s Office to Presidency
President Bola Tinubu has directed the immediate transfer of the Office of the Surveyor-General of the Federation to the Presidency. The move is intended to speed up the delivery of key national infrastructure projects.
Announced at the 150th National Economic Council meeting in Abuja, the change aims to improve planning and coordination for projects such as the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway.
In a statement, the President’s media aide said the relocation would remove bureaucratic bottlenecks and allow for closer oversight of government priorities. President Tinubu stressed the importance of breaking down delays to ensure timely completion of legacy projects.
