Presidency Insists Fubara Must Govern Without Obstruction

The Presidency has declared its support for Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara, insisting that he must be allowed to perform his constitutional duties without interference. The position was made public by the Special Adviser on Policy and Communication, Daniel Bwala.

Speaking on Channels Television, Bwala said existing court orders have halted impeachment moves against the governor and should be respected. He added that President Bola Tinubu remains committed to the rule of law.

Bwala also addressed concerns about the influence of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, stating that personal political interests must not override national stability.

He reaffirmed that the Federal Government’s position is clear: democratic institutions and legal processes must be upheld at all times.
