Overspeeding Convoy Kills Woman in Warri

A tragic road accident at Edjeba Junction near DBS, Warri, has claimed the life of a woman identified as Vivian Temi.

Warri Sentinel gathered that Temi was returning from the Nigerian Immigration Office on Thursday, June 5, at the time of the incident. She had reportedly been preparing for an emotional reunion with her mother, whom she had not seen in over 30 years.

The accident was allegedly caused by the high-speed convoy of an as-yet-unidentified individual. Eyewitnesses described the convoy as “reckless” and “overspeeding” when it collided with the vehicle in which Temi boarded.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Temi, who would have celebrated her birthday on June 25, was remembered by friends and community members as warm, soft-spoken, and deeply caring, especially toward children. Many have paid tribute, describing her as a peaceful individual who was widely loved.

She is survived by her children and other family members.
