Omadino Says No Rift with Tantita, Hails Job Slots

Omadino community has extended its appreciation to Tantita Security Limited after the company offered employment slots to several indigenes as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative. Community leaders say the gesture marks a positive step toward deeper cooperation between both parties.

During a press briefing, the Chief Priest of Omadino community, and Chairman Legal and Litigation Committee of Omadino Federated Communities, on behalf of the Elders, Management Committee, Youths and Women of Omadino, clarified that the community’s long-running boundary issues with neighbouring Gbaramatu Kingdom should not be mistaken for a dispute with Tantita. He emphasised that Omadino has a cordial relationship with the security firm, which conducts surveillance operations across their territory, and remains committed to supporting efforts to protect national assets within Omadino land.

Yomere noted that leaders from both communities may soon engage in a roundtable dialogue aimed at resolving the existing territorial tension. He reaffirmed that Omadino is an Itsekiri community under the authority of the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.

He urged all Omadino indigenes employed by Tantita to uphold diligence, discipline, and dedication, stressing that the work goes beyond a job and contributes to national service. Yomere also thanked Tantita’s management for its goodwill and inclusiveness, expressing hope for continued collaboration, peace, and shared progress.
