Olu of Warri Inaugurates Itsekiri Youth Group, Donates N50 Million Naira
His Majesty, Ogiamẹ Atuwatse III, CFR the Olu of Warri has sworn into office the newly elected executive of the merged youth group, UGBARAJO ITSEKIRI YOUTHS ASSOCIATION (UIYA) on Monday September 1, 2025 in Warri.

The monarch who donated N50,000,000 naira to the purse of the new association tasked them to maintain integrity and be proper ambassadors of Itsekiri youths all over the world. He also unveiled the new emblem of the new association shortly after the swearing-in ceremony at his Warri Residence.
The Joseph Okotie-led Executive which was elected on Saturday August 30, 2025 pledged to work according the charter establishing the organization and expend the funds judiciously for the advancement of the ideals of the association.

Other elected officials include: Women Leader, Alero Olugbo; Director of Socials & Welfare, Jolomi Kekema; Director of External Affairs, Ajakaye Blessing; Director of Mobilization, Odemi Agbeyegbe; Financial Secretary, Tuoyo Ojogbo; Legal Advisor, Solomon Ogholaja; Treasurer, Ayemidejor Omawumi; Assistant PRO, Collins Ebiareneyin; PRO, Gbubemi Ejesi; Assistant Secretary, Laura Oritseweyinmi; Secretary-General, Edward Jakpa; 4th Vice President, Asin Blessing; 3rd Vice President, Lily-white Omasanjuwa Esigbone; 2nd Vice President, Stephen Amejuma; and 1st Vice President, Tsaye Mene.
