Oborevwori Suspends SSA Over Alleged Fraud

The Delta State Government has announced the immediate suspension of Favour Obakoro, also known as Vida Modelo, who serves as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Morals and Diaspora.

In a statement issued on Tuesday,January 14 by the Secretary to the State Government, Kingsley Eze Emu, the suspension is to allow security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation into allegations that Obakoro used her official position to fraudulently solicit money from various individuals.

Recall Warri Sentinel had previously reported that human rights activist VeryDarkMan had raised concerns about Obakoro allegedly using her office to defraud people.
