Oborevwori, Ibori Lead Tributes as Oskar Ibru Is Laid to Rest

Delta State’s political and traditional elite turned out in Ughelli on Thursday for the funeral service of Olorogun Dr. Oskar Ibru, JP, marking a solemn farewell to one of the region’s most influential figures. The service took place at All Saints’ Cathedral Church, where the late philanthropist and business leader was honoured for his long-standing service to humanity.

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori arrived alongside a distinguished group that included former Governor James Ibori, former Deputy Senate President Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Senator Ede Dafinone and Seyi Tinubu.
