Oborevwori Charges New DELSU Council Members on Integrity
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has urged newly inaugurated members of the Governing Council of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, to uphold integrity and commitment in the discharge of their duties.
The governor gave the charge while inaugurating Rt. Hon. Festus Agas, Rt. Hon. Frank Enekorogha, and Mr. Charles Ajuyah, SAN, into the university’s governing council. He stressed that university councils play a critical role in policy direction and institutional oversight.
According to the governor, his administration remains intentional about appointing individuals with proven leadership records into tertiary institution councils across the state. He reminded the appointees that their decisions would impact students, staff, alumni, and the future of the university.
Speaking on behalf of the appointees, Festus Agas expressed gratitude to the governor and pledged cooperation with the Vice-Chancellor and management to advance the university’s standards.
