Nwaoboshi Blames Presidency for Delta APC Crisis

APC chieftain and former senator, Peter Nwaoboshi, has accused unnamed figures in the Presidency of orchestrating divisions in the Delta State chapter of the party.

He said the internal crisis worsened after President Bola Tinubu’s victory, with some actors working to undermine the influence of former Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege.

According to him, Omo-Agege remains aggrieved over being sidelined despite his role in past APC electoral victories in Delta. Nwaoboshi warned that the 2027 governorship ticket may be out of reach for Omo-Agege as long as the sitting governor seeks re-election.
